What is a fit-out?
A fit-out is the work that makes an interior usable for its occupier: partitions, ceilings, flooring, lighting and power, air-conditioning, joinery and finishes. A shell-and-core commercial unit usually needs a full fit-out before it can open.
Can renovation work be carried out while a building is in use?
Often, yes. Work is phased so that noise, dust and disruption are kept to agreed areas and times, and the approach is set out before work starts.
